In my opinion this game doesn't need a huge loot pool to be fun. I actually think last season was probably the most balanced competitive season ever. I don't wanna repeat what you said because I agree with almost everything, so I'll try to throw some constructivism in there for Epic to read (Lol). This might be the most rational take I've read about the current situation. It’s why guys like EpikWhale can switch to controller and win the cash cup in a few months practice. This is the reason why, despite being on a 100 ping difference, an EU player can win the EU cash cup in solo and then place second on NAE. If you have shit mental, are pissed off at the game, think Epic is dogshit, and you haven’t even launched the game yet, you’re going to be massively on tilt and play bad. The thing about Fortnite is what Bugha said on stream yesterday: the game is 100% about confidence. The only time anyone ever has a valid death if it’s end game, and then it’s usually blamed on not having mats or something else. I’m not saying Fortnite is perfect but this idea of a “perfect fortnite” is pretty ridiculous. If somebody SMGs in your box? OMG LINEAR! There’s a complaint for every single death. If you get sniped? REMOVE HEAVY SNIPER OMG YOU SHOULDNT HAVE YOUR GAME ENDED IN ONE SHOT! RPGs?! Don’t even get me started. If they box fight you and take your wall? Oh it’s just ping. If somebody even hits you with an AR bullet, it’s automatically deemed a controller player and aim assist.

The problem this creates is now every death is deemed bullshit.

Fortnite is by far the most evolutionary shooter ever, and it’s the only BR/shooter that really gives you ability to outplay your opponent in every single way. People just are bored of playing the same game for years and for some reason want to claim it’s dog shit.
